I switched from ** (inherited account) to Pure Talk in order to save $ten mo. on data. Everything was smooth until AFTER I signed upwardly, at that place was a detect proverb all new accounts must have a 5G Phone. My phone was not 5G. Why was this not explained to me beforehand? Now I have to purchase a new phone, to salvage $10 a month.

Tried calling y'all, information technology was during your transition to 5G, the lines were jammed. I don't have a working phone at present. Because the wait is then long, can't find anyone willing to part with their phone for 2 hours. Ok, I'll chat with you. What? No chat for customer service? I'll leave a message. What? You state this is for non-emergencies, information technology will have 24 hrs for response? How tin can I contact you??? Ok, I coerce my brother to brand the back up call for me. After on hold for over an hour, they say he tin't exercise anything with my account, he's non the holder!!! I'm at present without telephone for four days. Later on a week I have a working phone. Super frustrating. I had to pay someone to use their phone. All to save $10 a month.

I was non told that two of our v phones would not work with Pure Talk. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that they would contact me within 48 hours, I never received that call, and this is afterward sitting on hold for 2 hours. My Samsung phone was only 4 months quondam and I had to spend $800 on a new phone which it took me 2 hours on hold to get ready upwards with pure talk. I own a business organization and cannot be without a telephone, but I was without i for three days. My new phone, a Google pixel will but band iii times before going to voice mail, I am told by Google that it is a problem with my provider, (you). My son'due south Samsung as well did not work with pure talk and we had to get him a new telephone. When I signed up I used my Samsung to phone call Pure talk, only I was non told that it would not work on your network.

Whatsoever one I talk to I highly recommend that they non switch to pure talk, and at my soonest convenience I am going to switch to another carrier. This has been 1 of the worse business concern experiences I have always had. I tin can't believe that people like Sean Hannity and Clay and Buck push your network. We joined Pure Talk after learning nearly it through AMAC. I ordered my new phone, it came in the mail and we got it set up to run. 2 or 3 days afterward it stopped receiving and initiating calls, and about a week later on it stopped being able to text. I called customer service, several times, and everyone had a different method of attempting to revive this brand new phone. After several months of this behavior, I cancelled my contract.

Jeff ** contacted me, and he calmed me downwards and asked for time to correct the problem. Within ii days, he had figured out that I had been sold a 3G phone that was useless. He arranged for me to get a four or 5G phone, and it was in my easily the next day. He is a true hero and deserves a raise. I am enjoying my new service from Pure Talk. My hubby intends to switch very soon, at present that this glitch has been resolved. I purchased a phone and plan. My plan is $65 a calendar month plus $v for warranty. I see on this site all these low priced programme? Not my experience. $10 more than I was paying with Straight Talk which was a truthful unlimited data plan. This plan is not. There is a cap. Then information technology's slow and no style to navigate. That'south supposed to also be unlimited merely information technology's not. You are only allowed and so much. When you run out you take to call and beg for more. You get comments like why are yous using so much. I was assured the data would not be a problem. I accept to take an AT&T telephone which direct talk could no longer give me in my area. Now I meet after logging onto this folio that my programme price has been reduced $xx. And I'thousand a senior citizen and $65 is the all-time I could get with that supposed data.

Pretty much every time I talk to someone I get a difference response. I volition say the horrible long hold times we're better the last couple of times I called. Last nighttime I ran out of data nigh 15 min earlier the phone lines were supposed to be closed. There is no ane you tin can call if it's after hours. Concluding dark the phones were shut down early. I do like that they speak English but this visitor will exercise you no favors and if you get a telephone through them yous are tied to them for xxx months.

The worst was the horrible lack of help and concur times setting it up. Afterwards it was also late I establish out nigh post paid phones. I wish I had not put all my money into this. Post paid would take been a better option for me. AT&T or TMobile. Possible this might be an ok option if you lot don't employ much data. I've found the coverage to be marginal, at best. Thankfully, I take a second phone and I find myself using that for calls or its wifi Hotspot for net. If not for the price, I most certainly would take returned to my sometime provider already.

I recently ordered two phones from this company and the rep assured me they were made in Norway. In fact they were fabricated in Vietnam (nearly probable with Communist China oversight). And then, I mailed them back, costing me $xiv expecting a total refund based on the fact that the rep didn't know her product and I was out a few bucks. Well, curt story, Pure Talk shorted me $ten for aircraft their phones to me, refused my asking for a refund of both the $10 and my $fourteen expense and then even refused my asking to speak to a supervisor to reassess my complaint! Talk about corporate give-a-darn (cleaned that upwardly) well-nigh clients! Corporate America is increasingly distancing itself from American consumers because they save coin by edifice their product overseas and figure yous are just another number. Fine! Bottom line: If just one person who reads this complaint, avoids purchasing their questionable phones then I volition be pleased.

I practical for the hot spot & was able to utilise it the kickoff month. The second month it wouldn't connect. After three tries from different people I was told they couldn't guarantee it would work. Why did information technology work the first month but non the 2d? Makes no sense to me.

My PureTalk SIM carte worked great for data and texts but I was non able receive or to make calls on my iPhone. A PureTalk representative in support was able to walk me through some steps that somewhen worked. It would assistance if your people could ask what the SIM status is on the telephone. Example "Carrier Lock" or "SIM lock" or "no sim restrictions " etc. At the fourth dimension of activation. It took me almost 2 months to get my phone unlocked and working.

I brought over 2 phones from AT&T that worked perfectly while with AT&T. One worked when activated. The other took over a month and many calls (hours waiting in the queue) to tech support to function. Both phones have bug with data acquisition and connectivity. Both phones accept lost meaning signal force with phone reception. Your services are nothing what you promote in the media. I have come to live with the state of affairs. Service went out 1 day before auto-pay. It got fixed very quick, just it shouldn't of happened. Last month had to change the plans on the incorrect telephone and information technology costed me $54.00 more dollars. Wasn't very happy. Looking forward to having ameliorate service.

I had a terrible time signing up & was virtually a calendar month getting activated. Partly it was the fault of Verizon as I was transitioning from them, just nonetheless, I was pretty frustrated through the process. I however since then have been completely satisfied with Pure Talk.

I was told I needed a transfer pin only on my third phone call. Ii different people messed upwards my porting process. I had to call a total of nine-10 times to get porting my numbers from AT&T whom I take been with for the last twenty years. I have two lines with you and still haven't ported two boosted lines that are still with AT&T. I am considering porting those two lines dorsum to AT&T. I apply my phone for work and extremely inconvenient. Bottom line; the CSRs need to listen better or train amend.

The phone works pretty proficient most the time. FaceTime is horrible and doesn't work. Sending pictures or videos often doesn't work. Internet overall is very slow and or doesn't work. I'thousand happy with the price but the service is very poor. Not really sure what to practise. I want to keep the service simply I need better service. I'm hoping maybe there is something yous guys can do to make information technology ameliorate.

When I leave abode, I am not able to connect to cellular service. My wifi connects every bit soon as I become dwelling. When I need to travel, my google maps and Fnd Friends do not work. I heard an advertisement on the radio for PureTalk. I was looking for some other jail cell telephone service provider. Ane that was less expensive than I'd been paying over the years. I was a little skeptical on the $30.00 monthly charge, just I'k glad I took the chance and signed upwardly for the service. I am pleasantly surprised on the cell service I accept as it is pretty much equal to the other provider I had, with the exception of the price! Which is about $40 cheaper.

For some reason, I am not receiving all text messages. I have a shut friend who has informed me that his text letters have non been going through to my telephone... and he is correct, considering the last three days, I haven't received any that he has sent. It took WEEKS to go Pure Talk working. Waiting on hold to go client help took anywhere from one to two hours. None of the first three customer service people knew that Verizon phones were locked and would not work with PureTalk sim cards. Verizon would not unlock the phones. I finally had to buy a PureTalk Nokia phone to become the service to work, and so your advertisement that I could bring my phone was a lie. I later found out I am non immune to telephone call Canada. There was no warning that these phones only work in the U.South. Apps don't work on this Nokia 3.4 - specifically the clock alert and timer function unless the phone is left on and plugged in. At that place are besides many frustrations with PureTalk - I will non recommend PureTalk to any friends.
